Dr. Eric Buxbaum is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery through the Inspira Health Network and Rowan University. After residency, he completed his specialty training in adult reconstruction with the Rothman Institute. During his training, Dr. Buxbaum was awarded the Resident of the Year honor for his final two years of residency and was also appointed to the position of Chief Resident.

Dr. Buxbaum specializes in the treatment of degenerative conditions of the hip and knee. He currently serves as the medical director for the Total Joint Center of New Jersey at CentraState Medical Center. During his specialty training, he received advanced training in minimally invasive techniques, including the direct anterior approach for hip replacement and robotic-assisted knee replacement. He also is specially trained in performing complex revision procedures for patients who have previously undergone hip and knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Buxbaum’s primary goal is to relieve pain and restore function to his patients, by utilizing a combination of conservative and surgical techniques to do so.

While originally from New York City, Dr. Buxbaum, and many of his family members, now proudly call Monmouth County home. In his free time, Dr. Buxbaum enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid New York sports fan, rooting for the Mets, Jets, and Knicks.
