Patient Service Coordinator
Position Summary:

To properly assess the needs of the patients and relay that information to the doctors. Daily interaction with patients, making appointments, triaging patient calls, coordinating information with insurance companies, medical facilities, physical therapy, and hospitals.  Secure all new AOSMI Patients have had their insurance benefits verified before the appointment. Notifies patient of any monies that will be their responsibility at the time of the visit or after insurance payment is received. This position will work in tandem with secretarial staff, front desk, and billing department.

Medical Assistant
Position Summary:

The medical assistant’s main responsibility is to assist the doctors in the pods.  The medical assistant arrives to the office 15 minutes early to set up their pod for the doctors and make sure that all supplies are stocked.  In addition, they also populate the charts for the next day for their doctors.
