Our physicians emphasize conservative and alternative treatments whenever possible. For instance, we may recommend:
- Physical therapy
- Medical acupuncture
- Medication
If your pain does not respond to these conservative treatment methods, we may recommend a targeted injection, such as a nerve block. This relatively safe procedure, which is performed at our onsite fluoroscopy suite, does not involve a prolonged recovery period, and the results usually become apparent within days. And, since an injection is not a surgical procedure, there’s no wound to heal or scarring afterward.
