Physician Assistant

Sagar is an experienced orthopedic physician assistant at AOSMI, where he provides hands-on care for patients with sports injuries, joint pain, fractures, and chronic orthopedic conditions. He specializes in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues, assisting in surgeries, performing in-office procedures, and supporting patients through pain management plans.

With a strong background in orthopedic trauma, ER support, and surgical first-assist, Sagar works across clinic, emergency, and OR settings. He regularly treats patients independently and plays an active role in educating medical residents and physician assistant students.

Before joining AOSMI in 2016, he has focused on orthopedic trauma and sports medicine, and previously conducted research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Sagar holds a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Misericordia University, an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Drexel, and a B.S. in Biology from Penn State. He is certified in ACLS/BLS, DEA-compliant, and is a member of PAOS, AAPA, and NJSSPA.
