Angelo has had both hips replaced with the surgery performed by Dr. Alan Nasar of AOSMI at The Total Joint Center of New Jersey. Below Angelo describes his experience with his right hip replacement surgery that he had done first. He talks about his rapid recovery, lack of pain, and considerations in discharge to home vs. inpatient.

After recovering from his first surgery, Angelo found he was moving better but eventually his left hip started giving him some trouble. Since he had such wonderful results from his first surgery with Dr. Nasar, Angelo decided to return and have his left hip replaced. Below he talks about the second surgery and how he is doing now that both sides have been replaced.

Jane is a 71 year-old female who underwent a direct anterior hip replecement 24 hours prior to filming this video. She is able to walk in her hospital room without any assistance and reports no pain. Narcissa has an extensive history with regards to hip problems treated by Drs. Greller and Nasar. She had a successful treatment for avascular necrosis of the hip and a few years later had a hip arthroscopy for relief of hip impingement. Narcissa is recorded speaking with Dr. Greller discussing her history. She is very grateful for the compassionate care that she received from AOSMI.

Brian is filmed in the hospital 2 days after hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Alan Nasar. He participated in our rapid recovery program. Brian talks about his experience and demonstrates his ability to get around on his own with ease.

Jeff has been a life-long athlete.  In the past, he played semi-professional basketball.  Experiencing hip pain that was impeding him from exercising Jeff consulted Dr. Goldberger.  Dr. Nasar performed a minimally invasive hip replacement.  Jeff is back to cycling and is pain free!
