DR. GERARDO GOLDBERGER TESTIMONIALS

I went to Dr Goldberger with a full mass tear in my rotator cuff due to playing tennis. In February of 2015, he successfully performed a very complicated surgery to reconstruct and repair my right shoulder. Although I had been warned by many to expect intense pain and a lengthy recovery and the possibility of not ever playing tennis again, I was completely pain-free and back on the tennis courts after six months of therapy. It’s been 2 years since my surgery and I’m still pain-free and playing tennis 4 times a week! I have and will recommend Dr Goldberger to all my family and friends. His professionalism and ability as an orthopedic surgeon rate 5 out 5 stars in my opinion. Thank you Dr Goldberger and may God bless you!! (Cristina Tarantino | 2018 | Google)

When I look for a doctor I seek out individuals that share my passions. I am an athlete and when I have a problem I want the doctor to know me and understand my values. Dr. Gerardo Goldberger is an Ironman athlete and knows how athletes think. He understands that we don’t want to stop our workouts. I had the good fortune to know Dr. Goldberger as an athlete. When he heard of my back and leg pain he suggested an MRI. The results indicated spine issues that would only get worse without surgery. As a fellow athlete he understood my apprehension and sent me to another surgeon to confirm his analysis. The other surgeon confirmed Dr. Goldberger’s analysis. It has been less than 6 months since my surgery and fortunately I am back to triathlon swimming, running and cycling pain free!!!!!!! I highly recommend Dr. Goldberger and believe you will be in very capable hands if you choose this awesome doctor. (Self-verified patient of Dr. Gerardo V. Goldberger | Vitals)

“I was in a Bicycle crash on Monday July 4th, 2011 in Switzerland, and fractured my clavicle. I called AOSMI, from Switzerland to request treatment by Dr. Goldberger. Dr. Goldberger reviewed my X-rays electronically. I underwent surgery, in New Jersey on July 6th. The surgery went extremely well. Dr. Goldberger is the best surgeon. My recovery was fantastic. I was able to resume basic training in 5 days, within 3 weeks resumed my running, by week 4 I was back swimming, and by 8 weeks I competed in a race.

The physicians at AOSMI all share the same objective for all patients, which is the passion for helping people get back to their active lives. This is pretty special, and of particular importance to athletes.”

rob-goldbergerOne day after running, Rob who had been dealing with a backache for some time couldn’t move his right foot.  His primary care doctor referred him to Dr. Gerardo Goldberger and found out he had a herniated disc in his lower back. This type of injury can leave some patients in pain and disabled for months or even years.  Rob’s surgery was scheduled for 2 days later.  Rob was on a plane to Italy 4 weeks after surgery, 2 months after he was riding a bike and within 4 months he was running alongside his high school team, coaching them to the Shore Conference Championship in track!

Knowing Dr. Goldberger and his expertise in treating elite athletes I was confident he would get me ‘back on track’ as quickly as possible.

Brad

testimonial-BradDear Dr. Goldberger,

I would like to thank you for all you did for Brad. Specifically, your caring and compassion to his plight and the extraordinary work you did in the operating room, which resulted in his leg healing and being in optimal condition.

Brad injured his leg on August 20, 2008, and was operated on by you on September 3. Brad suffered a fracture of the femur and a torn ligament. The operation proved to be a little more difficult than expected but you felt confident that what was done would hold and that he would at some point be able to resume normal activities. I think Brad’s first question in the recovery room was when would he be able to wrestle. Your first inclination was that it would not be until winter 2010.

On January 27, 2009, you cleared Brad to normal activities. There were three regular matches left in the wrestling season. Brad lost the first match and won the last two. On Sunday, February 8, 2009, Brad competed in a school-wrestling tournament, which was the final event for the 2009 wrestling season. He was seeded fifth, as he did not have much of a record to use when seeding was determined. However, Brad wrestled five matches, pinning each of his opponents and came in first. As he received his medal I thought of you, and all that you did for him. Your outstanding work brought him back to the sport he loves. Attached is a picture of Brad on the podium.

Sincerely,
Brad’s Family

David B.

testimonial-davidBDr. Goldberger,

This email is being sent to let you know what a pleasant experience I had undergoing physical therapy in your group.

After being diagnosed by Dr. Goldberger for a bone contusion in my knee area, I started physical therapy with Pat Buck and Charles Archbald. They were both very helpful and patient with all the exercises they had me perform.

After 6 weeks of sessions, 3 times a week, I made enough progress to be able to “graduate” to home exercises. I could not have done this without all their help and guidance. Even the assistants (Hailey, in particular) were extremely friendly and made you feel at ease.

Please pass this note along to everyone so that they can see how appreciative I am of their terrific work. I hope I never have to have any more physical therapy, but if I do need any in the future, I will make sure it is done by your wonderful staff.
